FindTheFirm.com (“FindTheFirm,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a website owned and operated by FusionByte Media LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, doing business as FindTheFirm. Where this Privacy Policy refers to “FindTheFirm,” it refers to FusionByte Media LLC operating under that brand name.

FindTheFirm is a legal intake and lead-generation service. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and we do not represent you. We collect information from individuals who may have potential legal claims and share that information with independent, participating law firms and legal service providers who may contact you to evaluate whether they can assist you. Your information is also shared with marketing, intake, verification, and technology partners who support that process, and may be used to contact you about related legal service offers. Section 3 describes this in full. Submitting information to us does not create an attorney-client relationship, and no outcome, case acceptance, or compensation is guaranteed.

This site constitutes attorney advertising in some jurisdictions.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information you provide when you use our website, forms, and related services. By accessing or using this website, you acknowledge the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

  • Records of your consent, including the date, time, IP address, page URL, and the exact consent language displayed to you at the time of submission

  • Transmit your inquiry to participating law firms and legal service providers for case evaluation
  • Contact you by telephone call, text message, and email regarding your inquiry, including through automated or prerecorded means where you have consented
  • Contact you about related legal service offers, which may include other potential claims or legal services that appear relevant to you based on the information you provided — not only the specific matter you originally inquired about
  • Verify the accuracy and validity of submissions, including through third-party verification partners
  • Maintain records of consent and communications for compliance purposes
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website
  • Measure and improve our advertising campaigns
  • Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and record-retention obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

Depending on the campaign and the nature of your inquiry, your information may be shared with:

  • Participating law firms and attorneys for the purpose of evaluating your potential claim. Depending on the campaign, these may include MTM Group Joel Bieber LLC, Dream Team Law, MCH Law, and other independent law firms that participate in the relevant campaign.
  • Marketing and lead-distribution partners, including B1 Marketing Group, which may route your inquiry to appropriate participating law firms.
  • Legal intake, call center, and lead-verification partners who contact you or confirm the details of your submission on our behalf or on behalf of a participating law firm.
  • Service providers and vendors that support our operations, including hosting, CRM, form processing, spreadsheet and database tools, telephony and SMS platforms, email delivery services, and analytics and advertising platforms.
  • Government agencies, courts, or other parties where required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or where necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Participating law firms and other recipients are independent third parties. Once your information is transmitted to them, their use of that information is governed by their own privacy policies and professional obligations, not by this Policy.

How We Are Compensated, and What “Sale” Means Here

We want to be direct about this rather than rely on a blanket assurance.

We are paid for connecting individuals with participating law firms and marketing partners. Our compensation is tied to the submission and transfer of inquiries. Because money changes hands in connection with the disclosure of your personal information, certain state privacy laws — including the California Consumer Privacy Act — may treat this as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, even though it happens at your request, with your consent, and for the purpose you asked us to serve. Separately, our use of advertising and analytics cookies may also be treated as a “sale” or “share” for cross-context behavioral advertising under those laws. Section 8 explains how to opt out.

What we do not do:

  • We do not transfer your information to unrelated third parties for the marketing of products or services unconnected to your inquiry or to legal services.
  • We do not share your mobile telephone number or SMS consent with third parties for those parties’ own independent marketing purposes.
  • We do not sell information you provide about a minor for any purpose other than evaluation of the potential claim you submitted it for.

You are never charged a fee by FindTheFirm. Any fee arrangement between you and a law firm you choose to retain is a matter between you and that firm.

4. Communications and Your Consent

If you check the consent box on one of our forms, you consent to receive calls, text messages, and emails — including automated or prerecorded communications — from FusionByte Media LLC, FindTheFirm, and the other named parties identified in that form’s consent language, regarding your inquiry and related legal service offers, at the contact information you provided.

  • Consent is not a condition of purchase or of receiving any service.
  • Message frequency varies.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to any text message to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
  • You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any such email.
  • You may ask to be placed on our internal do-not-call list by emailing privacy@findthefirm.com.

Opting out of communications from us does not automatically opt you out of communications from a participating law firm that has already received your information. To stop those communications, you will need to contact that firm directly, or contact us and we will pass along your request.

We retain records of your consent and of opt-out requests as required by applicable telemarketing and consumer protection laws.

5. Minors and Submissions by Parents or Legal Guardians

Our forms are intended for adults. Our website and forms are not directed to children, and minors should not submit personal information to us directly. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from individuals under the age of 18.

Some of our campaigns involve potential claims arising from harm to a minor. A parent or legal guardian may submit information about a minor for the purpose of a potential case evaluation. If you do so:

  • You represent that you are the minor’s parent or legal guardian and are authorized to provide that information.
  • You should submit only the information reasonably necessary for an initial case evaluation.
  • Information you provide about the minor may be shared with participating law firms, legal intake and verification partners, and service providers as described in Section 3 of this Policy.

We treat information about minors as sensitive information and limit access to it accordingly.

If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us directly, or if you are a parent or guardian who wishes to review or delete information relating to your child, contact us at privacy@findthefirm.com and we will take reasonable steps to address the request.

6. Cookies, Tracking, and Advertising

We use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies — including Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and the Meta pixel — to operate the site, measure performance, understand traffic sources, and deliver and measure advertising, including retargeting.

You can modify your browser settings to block or delete cookies, though some site features may not function properly as a result. You may also be able to opt out of certain advertising through industry tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out page or your device’s advertising settings.

Global Privacy Control (GPC): Where required by applicable law, we honor a valid GPC or similar opt-out preference signal received from your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information associated with that browser.

How to submit a request: Email privacy@findthefirm.com with the nature of your request and enough information for us to locate your record. We will verify your identity before responding and will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.

Important limitation: If your information has already been transmitted to a participating law firm, deleting it from our systems does not delete it from that firm’s systems. We will identify the recipients we shared it with so you can contact them directly. Additionally, we may be required to retain certain records — including consent records — notwithstanding a deletion request.

Appeals: If we deny your request and you reside in a state that provides an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to our decision at privacy@findthefirm.com.

9. Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including websites operated by participating law firms. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or security of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated Effective Date. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acknowledgment of the revised Policy.
