Never. Our service is completely free for individuals seeking legal help.
You won’t be charged for submitting your case, getting a consultation, or being connected to a law firm.
The law firms we partner with operate on a contingency basis, which means:

3. Is my personal information secure?
We take your privacy seriously. Submissions are encrypted in transit and access is restricted.
Your information is shared with participating law firms for case evaluation, and with the intake, verification, and technology partners that help us operate. Our Privacy Policy names them.
We're paid by law firms and marketing partners for connecting inquiries, that's how the service stays free for you. We don't sell your information to unrelated companies for marketing that has nothing to do with your inquiry, and we never share your mobile number or text-message consent for anyone else's marketing.
4. How do I know if I have a case?
Fill out our free case review form. We'll check your answers against the screening criteria for our active cases and connect you with a participating law firm if there's a match. Whether you actually have a claim is a legal question only a licensed attorney can answer — and that's what the free consultation is for.
5. What happens after I fill out the form?
- We check your answers against the basic screening criteria for each active case.
- A case specialist may contact you for additional details.
- If your answers match a firm's criteria, we connect you with a participating law firm handling that type of case.
- A representative from that firm contacts you directly. The firm — not FindTheFirm — decides whether to take your case.
6. How long does it take to hear back?
Most people are contacted within 24–48 hours. In high-volume cases, it may take slightly longer, but rest assured, we process every inquiry with care and urgency.
7. What if I already talked to a lawyer or firm?
That’s okay! If you are already represented, you may not be eligible for additional legal support through our platform. However, if you’re unsure or haven’t signed anything, feel free to fill out the form and we’ll help guide you.
8. Are these lawsuits legitimate?
